Title: New to this tech. Need help.

Hello all, I am in need of some help with a IP Camera I have just purchased. I am having trouble with hooking it up and don't really understand what is going on. I have tried to follow the step by step X10 support sent me through this link: (Won't let me post link). I am still stuck with how to do get it running before installing it. Now mind you I have also found out that the model I have has been discontinued. Still told that it should still work with all the steps. they have just upgraded the model I have. Can someone please help me with getting this figured out please?
Model: XG40A Outdoor IP Camera.

Have you downloaded and installed the IP camera tool?

If so does it see the Camera when plugged into your router and powered on?
