APP (Android & IOS) ver. 2.0.08
Updates to timer related functions (specifically Dawn/Dusk)
Added delay to Dawn/Dusk functions ( +/- 90 minutes)
Various small bug fixes
FIRMWARE to ver. 0.0.24
Notes: did not update on android tablets with older operating systems. Now reports "Not optimized for device".
Dropped used space on phone.
ADDENDUM: Tablets show updated APP version without direct update from play store.
As reported by USER: ceedee:
- the 90 minute increment is only on iOS
- the increments are every 5 minutes up to 30, then every 15 minutes.

When I had an app on the play store I had issues with Google restricting old devices even though the app worked on them.
For users that run into this situation look for an alternate APK download source. I'll try to get the APK for future releases.

I checked APKpure.com to see if they had the latest X10 Wi-fi App and they do. :)%
As well they have the 2.0.0.7 APK.
Users who have difficulty with Google can get the latest APK here:

Android APP ver. 2.0.0.9
Seems the junior developer posted the wrong app version to the google Play store 2.0.0.8 was the test version I was running.
2.0.0.9 is now available which includes the offsets for the dusk/dawn settings this doesn't display the times of the scheduled action.
I do have both the 2.0.0.8 and 2.0.0.9 APKs direct form Authinx for users not comfortable downloading from APKPure. ;)
However these are larger then what the Forum will allow for uploading. :(

Added options for non DST timezones when using Dusk/Dawn feature.
Changed increment of Dusk/Dawn offsets to 5 minutes.
Note: if the unit syncs to your device, why does the app need a setting for DST?

You have to watch and be careful of APK sites. They are full of virus infected apps disguised as ligit updated apps ::) :'
Also the version there is Version 2.0.10 which was the last updated version on Google play only the release date is different which draws suspicion.

My phone just downloaded an update for the X10 WIFI app, V2.0.11. Anyone have any insight as to what this is all about? It has been ages...…

Play store says fixes minor connection issues and app permissions updated.
All it did on my phone was break the check for firmware update. Maybe a new firmware is comming ::) :'

I just got some more info on the newest update. This was tested a while ago to fix the issue android users were getting with <unknown SSiD>
Although Authinx was getting mixed results with this fix it looks like the developer went ahead and released it anyways B:( ::) :'

Well, after waiting like forever, a new version finally came out, but it didn't fix my problem ( Can't See QR Code (Can't Access Camera) (http://forums.x10.com/index.php?topic=30517.0) ). :'(
Just to mention, during this long, long wait, I purchased another hardware device. Like X10, its app uses the device's camera to read in a unique scan code to connect and register the hardware. Unlike X10, it has no problem accessing my device's camera. Plus, they were smart enough to offer an alternative (non-camera) method where the user/customer manual types in the numerical code/value from the scan code.
Ah well, back to waiting. Waiting for X10 to fix their bug. >*<

With the new version of the X10 app...
On my older phone, running Android 8, I can exit the app with using the "back" button from the home screen. Of course, I get the "are you sure" popup.
On my new phone, running Android 9, I can't exit the app. The "back" button still works within the app, like to return to the previous screen, but no longer will it exit the app if I am at the home screen.

I am having the same problem.

It also seems the new update broke the device status on my app. I have WM100 timers turning on lights and the app shows they're off.
I initially thought this was due to miscommunication with my CM15A, but I've since pulled all CM15s out of service and the problem persists.

Authinx was concerned something would break with this update and asked the author for a way to revert. I'll see if this was ever done.

A firmware update usually means a app update is coming. I doubt we'll notice anything till then.
