Went to Dollar Tree store today seeking alcohol (no, it's for hand sanitizing, silly). Anywho I found these neat little LED spot lights for desk, workbench, etc. Sunbeam brand name, heavy base with toggle switch and internal switching supply (yes I took it apart). Standard cord and plug, so no ugly wall wart. About the brightness of a 50W halogen with equivalent color temp. Even though the box stated "Non dimmable" I connected to a BSR Lamp Module (hey, the lamp was only a buck and it was a BSR module). It does dim, but flickers at low settings, but no fire, smoke, or heat from either lamp or module. Test duration was about 10 minutes, endurance test in progress.
I checked a second Dollar tree while still looking for sanitizer, wipes, masks, or alcohol (yes, that is humor) and that store did not even know what I was talking about. But, I thought it worthy of passing on.

I have an order in (from last week) to be filled at a local grocery Tuesday. All done via text and on-line... delivered to my car. My "shopping days" (except for Amazon) are currently on hold.
Not happy with myself for not having any N95 masks. Generally I am pretty prepared. I didn't see this pandemic coming... soon enough. I plan on being better prepared for next years Super Volcano at Yellowstone (light humor :)).
I've been converting those battery powered candles to run on wall-warts. The modules I use become holiday decoration control at Christmas time.
