Title: CM11USB European version
Post by: asterix on September 01, 2005, 01:13:06 PM
Hello,
I have ACtiveHome and I would like AHP. Is
it possible ?
I use the CM11USB :

I have some problem to control the module
LD11 :

.asp?id=40

The dimmer function are a strange behavior
in macro. Moreover when using the command
x10comm.exe the behavior during the dimming
or brighting function are different with the
command X10Com32.exe.
I cannot use the dim to level function
correctly.

Could you help me.
Thanks
PS : excuse my Belgian English ;-)

Unfortunately the AHP software is not
compatible with the CM11A or E (the USB
version is just a regular CM11 with a
custom USB to serial cable) and there isn't
a European version of the CM15.  It is
theoretically possible to hack a CM15A to
work in Europe but it is not a project for
the faint of heart since not only do you
need to worry about the 240V power, but the
clock keeps time with the 60Hz signal (it
would lose 10 minutes an hour).

As for your dimming problems, I am afraid I
cannot be of much help on that either as I
have never actually used a CM11.

PS. No problem about your Belgian English,
it is much better than my Flemish ;-)
