I don't know what it is either.  I'll try
to look up some info on it.

MyHouse Online is the Internet plug-in for
ActiveHome Pro. You can use it to access your
Activehome Pro system remotely over the
Internet, and it adds macro commands for
e-mail and FTP.

The MyHouse service isn't able to connect -
or stay connected to the service. The
message that's presented in the log is that
NtaSysConnClosed is the step just before
the service is disconnected.

Is there something that I didn't do
properly?

I am having the same problem. What do I
need to do. I don't have a router and I
tried turning off my virus protection and
windows firewall, but it still did not
work. Any ideas?

I have also been unable to get the MyHouse
Online plug-in to connect to the server even
after opening all ports through my router
and disabling my firewall  Since the plug-in
is being advertised as an advanced preview,
I'm wondering if the server isn't actually
functioning yet.  Maybe we ordered the
software faster than the X10 folks expected
and were not able to get the server in place
in time.  Just a thought.

At least it's comforting to know that it's
not just me having the problem.

I was just about to order this software.  I
think I'll hold off for a little bit until
the bugs are worked out.

All: This is a problem we take very
seriously. We're are investigating this
problem now, and will hopefully have a
resolution very soon.

I'm having the same message when I try to
connect I get the
message "NtaSysConnClosed".  Talked with
Tech Support and left email and phone
number because he advised that this is so
new that they still have to resolve issues
as they come in.

BD: Our development team is actively working
on this problem -- it's our number one
priority. We're working closely with
technical support to gather information, and
I'm keeping them informed. We've narrowed it
down somewhat, and I'm feeling pretty
confident that we'll have a solution before
the end of our day.

I get similar status errors and the only
screen I get is for New Room1 and none of
what is Running on the install of AHPro.
There is also a screen that tries to load
but fails with res://Antx.DLL/203 in the
Address bar.
Will wait for answers Don Hill

This problem should now be resolved. It
wasn't a problem inthe MyHouse or ActiveHome
Pro code, but a problem with data on the
server. If you try to connect now, it should
work almost immediately.

Connecrd ok. No video from cameras. The
system is working just no live video.

Spoke to soon. Connected OK but no live
video and the connection is dropped after
about a minute. Macros did not run.

Don: When the connection drops, it should try
to start it again -- does that happen? Does
the video appear if you adjust the framerate
and quality down? How are you connected to
the Internet -- both server and remote client
side?

Works great!!  All I have to do is adjust the
frame rate a little and I'm able to see live
video from all of my cameras.  This is what
I've been waiting for.  Been running it
non-stop for the last 3.5 hours without a
glitch.  Great job!  Please convey my
compliments to the software team.

Has anyone actually been able to get the
MyHouse module to send notification e-mail
messages to any e-mail addresses?  Now that
the server problem has been fixed and I've
actually been able to connect and control
MyHouse, I'd like to be able to send the e-
mail messages that include the connect
instructions and links so I can access
MyHouse remotely.

Warren: We are taking a look at e-mail
features currently. I am able to send e-mail
when I try it here, and I have heard from
others that it works for them, but there are
definitely users like you for whom it doesn't
work.

To X10Pro: Internet connection is Wildblue
sattelite for both remote and desktop
(actually on the same router). This may add
a latency issue. Email goes from the
install on the remote but not when
activated thru MyHouse Online plugin.

Just to let everyone know i have no
problems sending an email from myhouse.
Everything on my end works perfectly video
ect...ect.... i'm very impressed so far. I
didn't get video at the start from my
remote computer but that was due to the
security setting i had set up in the
configuration menu. after I corrected that
video works perfect.
Great job x10.

Don: If you want, I can try to connect to
your system from here and see what I get.
Just create a user name and password and send
it to ahpsupport@x10.com and I'll give it a
try. Latency could be a problem, but we'll see.

scott: Could you give me some more
information about the problem? How are you
connnected to the Internet? Do you have video
in the camera window on the main AHP system?
