Title: Activated timer routines
Post by: mtrcarrsev on October 17, 2005, 02:54:58 PM
Is there a method to activate timer
routines at the press of an X10 button?
For an example, have B2 activate timers to
turn lamp B5 on & off during dusk to
10:30PM, and lamp B6 to turn on & off at
various intervals to make the house
look "lived in" while we're gone.  I would
like to then deactivate the timer routine
with B2 "off" when I return home.
I assume this would use the SmartMacros
function of the AHP (which I do have), but
I'm not sure how to go about it.  Thanks!

there is a way to do it using smartmacros
and timers first create the macro (not b2
ON/OFF as the trigger) you wish to fire
while your away with the condition b2 is ON
next create a  module B2, next create a
timmer for your macro it will only fire at
the times you want if B2 is on. When you
come home turn off B2 and the macro will
stop firing at the set times.
