I have an application where say I have
three rooms, each with an addressable
receptacle. Now say I have 3 lamps, again
each with an addressable receptacle. How
can I find out REMOTELY which lamp is
connected to which receptacle?

You need to add more detail. If I
understand, you have a total of six
addressable outlets(receptacles?)and three
lamps. How do you tell which lamp is
connected to which receptacle? Without being
able to see the lamps, you can't.

Bubba !
You have your lamps plugged into 2-way
receptacle/modules ! Just sit at your desktop
and use the "poll" function as you cycle thru
each addressable room wall receptacle and
lamp module address. This assumes you have
kept good records of what lamp is connected
to what 2-way module.
You have now determined what room the lamps
are in.

X10 "2-Way" receptacles? Cool!
X10 "2-Way" receptacles that can sense the
actual presence of a load...really cool! I
didn't realize they existed.

Bubba may not know...hehe

and he may have the lamp connected to a 2-way
module and that connected to the "normal"
addressable receptacle...hummmmm
maybe he will put a green, red and blue bulb
in each and go outside at night and see what
color is on ??

You need to label(name)the receptacle
modules as you add them to AHP
