Title: Nightwatch 2 Cameras
Post by: j. warren on March 12, 2005, 05:47:20 PM
I got a bunch of x10 stuff thru x10.com
about 4 months ago and waited to install it
in my new house....now that I am here....I
cant get the cameras to work. I have two
sets of wired cameras and two wireless
receivers....I tried doing an install for
just one set and it didnt work after
following the directions to a T. I tried it
3 times each on each set just to make sure
I was doing it right but neither one
works...any suggestions besides sending it
back??   :) Actually,  Maybe I will

Take the 2 wired cams and run them to your
vcr. Run one to the front a/v input and one
to the back a/v input. Tune the tv to
channel 3 or 4 witchever is corect for the
vcr. Now tune the vcr to line one or line
two or it may be called input 1 and input
2. This will tell if the cams work. Make
sure power supply is in correct numbers.
Now you can switch between 1 and 2 with the
vcr remote. Hope this helps.

Get a witness before you send it back. I
returned an order unopened and was charged
for a missing compnonent. These guys are as
close to internet fraud as I've ever seen.

I was advised by Tony McCarl that hewould work with me to resolve my problem. Thesum total was an update that crashed XPimmediately and a link to the download page.I managed that part myself. Thx for nothing Tony.Thuis is essentially an internet scam as faras I can see and I am going to the RCMP inCanada to see about pressing charges.
