Title: ninja pan-n-static
Post by: frowny on April 26, 2005, 09:48:23 AM
who came up with the idea for the Ninja-pan-
n-tilt camera base????  This is anidiotic
setup idea.  When the camera pans, the
antenna moves out of position so the signal
is terrible, unless the camera and receiver
are right next to each other.  What a
complete waste of money.

Every setup is different based on the local
wiring, RFs, etc.  I have 3 Ninjas.  Two
work in full swing, and one is limited to
about 80% of the sweep range because if the
radio interference when the transmitter is
not aligned.

You have to limit the pan to your best
picture quality.  There are many solutions
in addition to complaining.

- limit the scan range
- move the base
- move the receiver
- adjust the transmitter
- adjust the antenna
- add a repeater
- remove the transmitter
- remove the base and put in 2 stationary
cams

If you spent the energy wasted on
complaining into something productive you
would be posting solutions.

Turn that frowny up-side-downy !
