Title: Baby room camera?
Post by: hoover dude on August 02, 2005, 03:54:15 PM
I'm thinking of installing a wireless low-
light camera in my new baby's room and
getting a receiver for my living room TV and
my bedroom TV.  Anybody else ever done this?
Any suggestions?

Yes, thats what we are doing and we put the
camera into video3 input so we can picture
in picture it while watching TV. Seems to
interfear with wireless network at home a
bit, but cammera works well(dont expect TV
quality for less than $100 but the image is
there)

Mike; Yes the cameras share the same RF
frequencies used by many wireless networks.
Sometimes changing the networks channel
helps. Also 2.4 Ghz cordless phones can
interfere with the cameras also.

dude, if you check my website out you will
find many cameras for your needs.. we
currently have 1 great nightvision (great
quality) camera with a mobile receiver.. you
can clip it on your belt.. when you hear
something the small receiver has a color
screen on it to view.. great for new baby
rooms... check the site out or email me for
more information.

This will work fine. Just don’t expect to
get a usable picture in low light situations
with any of the X10 cameras. If you want to
view the room at night you will need to go
IR.
