Title: need help designing X-10 system
Post by: ranger ric on November 20, 2005, 12:42:02 AM
I would like to use an x10 system to control my water
water recirculating pump.  The  pump  itself  is  a  very
small  Grunfos  so  the  rating  of  the  switch  does  not
have  to  be  large. The idea is to have the pump come on
for a set amount of time (for example 2-3 minutes)
whenever a switch is activated in the bathroom.  So I need
some kind of a switch that urns itself off after a short time
and can be controlled by an x10 transmitter. Any ideas? I
wonder if there is some way to use the timer that comes
inside a motion detector outside light?

Buy an X10 CM15A and Active Home Pro
software. You can set timers for any length.
You can download the manual from X10.com
under the Support tab.
