Title: can I use US X10 in europe
Post by: grey on November 23, 2005, 04:48:41 PM
I have a european X10 system.  It uses remote controls
that operate at the frequency of 433,92MHz.  Can I use
america remotes on this system?  Is there a way to use the
American remotes on a 200V  system.  the reason is that
the prices in the US are much lower thatn in europe.

No the US Remotes and Tranceivers are 310Mhz.
There are mods that some have used to convert 120V modules to 220 volts. One place to look is http://www.idobartana.com/hakb/index.htm (http://www.idobartana.com/hakb/index.htm)
Remember you mod it; its yours on the warantee and I don't know if the 310Mhz use maybe a no no overseas
