Walking 30' from the active eye sensor trips
it, yet cars can hit it and it won't trip??

The motion sensors work on a temperature
change from something moving it the
detection area. So if the car didn't change
the detected temperature, no detection. Also
they don't detect well with the object
moving directly to or from the sensor but
across its detection area like from left to
right.
