Title: SS13A
Post by: wsmitty on January 22, 2006, 10:53:19 PM
I have installed a few X-10 motion sensors
as well as remote wall switches. The
question I have is: The SS13A switch sends
signals out On/Off based on the first
switch +2. What about the Bright and Dim?
How is that issued? I am attempting to use
this system along with the Elk M1 Gold and
use this Bright/Dim along with rules in the
ElkRP software. This is the only way I can
do this due to keep from having a row of
TM751's lined up to utilize all modules.
Thanks, Smitty

Can't say about the SS13A but the bright and
dim commands when I looked at them in an
Advanced Signal Area of my controllers
software. The Bright and Dim commands are
for an example on my UR19A with RR501
tranceiver on house code A. Bright sends a
ABright; a Dim sends a ADIM command. The
last addressed modules are the ones that are
still listening for more commands. Like if I
send an A2 ON the A2 addressed modules are
still in the listening for commands mode. So
sending an ADim if it is a dimming type
module will dim the module.
