Title: What's the point of an SDK that doesn't work?
Post by: showson on January 20, 2006, 08:33:01 PM
Hi all!
I downloaded the SDK a few days ago, and
I've been messing around with it buliding
an ASP page.

Everything was great until I get the
queryplc, spent time getting it to work and
couldn't.
So I just browsed through the forums and
saw it doesn't work.

What's the point of this SDK if it's not
fully functional?
You can turn devices on and off and dim
them, but can't get a status on them?

Is there any plans to fix this?

From what I've seen, the X10 employees
don't monitor the forums so if anyone else
has an answer please let me know.

Thanks.

I haven't had any problems with sendplc
(yet).  queryplc has never worked and
sendrf seems to be flaky at best.

TO X10 Company:  This forum area needs to
be monitored and you need to get some
better forum software!!
