Title: Can't Post to X10 Zone->Article Discussion Forum
Post by: roger1818 on April 25, 2006, 10:15:18 AM
It seems as though the Article Discussion (http://www.x10community.com/forums/index.php?board=12.0) forum in the X10 Zone (http://www.x10community.com/forums/index.php#7) has been made read only.  How can we "Talk about X10 Wireless Home articles" if we aren't able to post our comments?

Seems they didn't want anyone commenting on their Posts, but if that was the case why not just lock the post. ???
On the Other hand if you real need to post to the x10 zone one could post elsewhere and hope a Community Organizer or someone from X10 moves it there! >:(
Maybe add a comment "should be posted in X10Zone" ;) :)

It doesn't seem to be read-only in the board settings, and there's at least one post with replies to it. Which topic isn't allowing posts?

I can't see a reply or post button on any of the threads there! In fact the only option that is visible to me is "mark as read"  ??? This use to  have all the buttons visible!

Try it now. It looked like the problem was with defined membergroups (like "Community Organizers") not receiving all the same permissions everyone else had. So, you guys would see this, but most everyone else would not.

Ok that looks like it was the problem! I can now see all buttons and bring up a reply window!
