Title: Internet Baby Cam help???
Post by: tmorefi on June 12, 2006, 02:28:15 PM
We are having our first baby in a few months and our extended family would like us to set up a camera at the crib so they can see our precious little girl via the internet from far away. Suggestions? Our computer is in the next room so we could used a wired camera vs. wireless but any thoughts on a camera and how we could set this up? Thanks.

I am trying to do the same thing.  I bought a wireless Xcam2 (with Ninja base and Vanguard software) and tried it out.  It did not have a low enough light sensivity to work as a baby monitor.  I was thinking about trying the black and white camera to see if the low light feature worked any better.

I really like the software and the Ninja base.  With the wireless feature you can hook it up to the TV and have a picture in picture monitor.  That way we could monitor the baby from either a laptop or a TV.

I really am hoping the B&W camera works fine.
