Physical Size of XPCR Module
« on: January 09, 2007, 05:30:39 PM »

I ordered a XPCR today and I need to get a workbox for it. Anyone have any idea how big of a workbox to get? I can't seem to find any physical specs for the XPCR.

I could not find the size on the X10Pro site either. The install manual is there if you care to look at it or download it.

In the Smarthome web site; where they sell the XPCR as a stock number 4820x. It shows 75X120X40 mm;  3"X4.7"X1.6"

For everybody planning to get a XPCR, please note this from the Smathome website: "Note: Installation must be carried out by qualified installers only The main breaker must be turned oft during installation and the coupler must be installed in a suitable workbox or equivalent enclosure. Installation must be carried out in accordance with all applicable codes and requirements, including, but not limited to, the National Electrical Code (NEC)."

Yes, but necessary in this litigious world where it is always someone else's fault whenever something bad happens.
