BIG Question about Active/eagle eye sensors
« on: March 22, 2007, 10:02:03 PM »

i have a big question about sensors. i have a 2 cameras w/ robotic ninja mount kit and with sensors on each; one on the front of my house and the other on the back yard. my question is: "can i program 2 sensors on each camera instead of only one sensor per camera so if that i can place one sensor one end of the house and the other on the other end of my house so that if i have my cameras on sweep mode and if someone tries to jump the fence on the left, the left sensor would pick him up as well if the same person tried to jump the fence on the right, the same camera would pick him up as well??? thanks in advance... please reply

Yes, you can have multiple motion sensors trigger your cameras.  Make sure you have some provision in your Macro to prevent the second motion sensor from triggering your camera when it is already recording from motion sensor one.  iWitness gets "goofy" (tech talk) when this happens.  You can do that by testing to see if the camera is already recording.
