Created a camera that's not in a room...grrrrrr
« on: June 16, 2007, 08:01:32 PM »

In ActiveHome, I accidentally (?) created a camera that's not in a room and now I can't get rid of it.  It's listed under the Camera tab and it won't go away.  Can anyone help?  Grrrrrrrrrrr!

Everytime I make a change, I save the ahx file [named) as a new date (current date of course). When making several changes on the same day... I add a letter "a" then "b" at the end.

Do you happen to have a "previous" file?

Are you talking about the MyHome.ahx file?  I can probably get it off of my other computer, and thanks for the tip.  I'll never make another change without doing as you suggest - great idea.  Please confirm that myhome.ahx is the correct one.  Thanks!

Another thing I did..... I tracked down the file (it isn't hard, you could just search you HD for .ahx) then created a shortcut to the folder it is in. I placed the folder on my desktop. Makes it a quick easy way to copy the ahx file to a flash drive.
