Appliace modules not responding
« on: December 19, 2007, 10:16:38 AM »

I have 2 locations in the house where the appliance modules do not respond to either on or off commands. I replaced one of the modules with a new one ...but that made no difference. Both locations worked in years past. I have installed the latest software update and some rooms still work. I am wondering if there could be an issue of which buss leg the circuits are connected to in my electrical panel.
Any thoughts on this problem?

It could be a phase coupling problem or a noise problem. I would suggest you do a search of these forums for both of these and you will find a lot of usefull information.

Here's what I did recently to fix my X10 problems.
Some of them were exactly as you have described.
Hope this helps.

A dryer plug in coupler/booster may be just the ticket
