But remember that even though the software supports 2-way communication, none of the current X-10 modules do!!  So the software still will not be able to know if a device was turned on by the switch and not through a PLC or RF command!  I think the Insteon switches still do this, though, so that would work.  Of course that's only a problem if the 2-way support was what you were after.

The latest version was released 24 June 2011. So it still looks like the author is still actively working on it.

Insteon Modules can still have an X10 address added to them and report local paddle changes.
With one difference from X10 two way module.
Dimmer version use the X10 %dim report. The two way X10 modules used the extended X10 messaging.
When turned On locally they do send an X10 On and at when locally turned Off send an Off.
When dimmed they send a %dim message.
