VOIP error when accessing HAL through laptop

Guys,

    I connected HAL to phoneline, I have laptop connected as well. Tested laptop, it dialed my cell phone over the VONAGE VOIP so I know that it works. When I tried to access the OMNI LT over the line the Vonage service says it cannot dial the number.

   How can I connect to HAL with VONAGE ? doing all this from in house.
