Setting up motion activated recording (floodcam)
« on: August 02, 2008, 11:03:01 AM »

I've looked through the wiki and whatnot, and find it very confusing. I've had no problem setting up the rest of the x10 system in the house, aside from the floodcam. The lights seem to stay on all the time at night for some reason.

Also, I can't seem to figure out how to set it up for motion activated recording. Can anyone offer a step by step walkthrough? I tried the one on the wiki, and it seems to constantly record when I "view" the camera, then doesn't stop recording. It's also not tripping when something moves infront of the sensor.

If anyone can help me out, that would be great. All I want is for the computer to record video when someone walks infront of the camera.

Thanks,
Jay

EDIT: Oh yeah, I'm using AHP with iWitness.
