Eagle Eye Sensor--preserve settings on battery change

if the eagle eye does this now, let me know which model.  I currently have the MS14 A and it does not have flash memory, so settings are lost with the battery change.
 Seems to me that the addition of flash memory would be a nice feature.  I would not mind paying a bit more for my sensor if it preserved the settings.
