Using BS2 to control CM11A module
« on: February 04, 2009, 05:43:39 PM »

I am developing a home monitoring system using a PC and Basic Stamp modules to do the control/monitoring.  I have an old CM11A module that I dug out and it tests ok.  What I am looking for is some sample BASIC code that I can load into the BS2E module to see how it plays.  I also need to understand the hardware interfacing.

Anyone out there have have experience working with the BS2e and the CM11A module?

Thanks.

Have you looked on the Parallax web site for examples. I remember at one time seeing some BS2 stuff with X10. Though that may have been with the TW523 X10 Interface.

I just checked and did not see anything.  I will do some more checking.  Seems like a natural fit, using the Stamp with these modules.

I have not used my BS2 stuff in awhile.
I believe the PBASIC Manual had one example in it.
I think the rest where from the Nuts and Volts Articles that where downloadable. Though I just checked and didn't see them in the downloads area. When I get home I will see exactly which Nuts and Volts a issues had the X10 stuff in them. Some maybe still in the Nuts and Volts web sites archives.
