Alternative to VA11a for AHP?
« on: July 19, 2009, 06:29:59 PM »

I went through my junk room, and located some old x10 goodies.
FireCracker CM17a, old RR501, MS14a and MS13a, XCam2, etc.

I now have the XC19a camera working with my x10 Video Receiver (the label fell off... VR36a?)
Would like to use AHP, but don't want to shell out another $50 - $100 for the VA11a.
(Read that the VA12a needs AHP 3.236, which I don't want to upgrade to)

I can see my XCam2 video in my DVR software (Sony Giga Pocket) on my PC.
I could program a daily recording with a 24-hour expiry on the module, so that I can keep the last day's surveillance video, etc.
But I killed a 250GB Maxtor harddisk recording too much stuff from TV when I first got my PC DVR :)

Is there some program out there that can periodically snap still shots of the current active window?
Easier to manage still shots than video, IMHO.
