PA 5800 Operation Question
« on: November 29, 2009, 08:23:39 AM »

How does the dialing sequence work?
I have put in 3 numbers, it calls the first ok but doesn't seem to roll over to next.
Can the system call long distance numbers?  ie include a 1 for first number?
What happens if the number it calls reaches an answering machine?
I assume if no 0 is responded system rolls to next numbers after a certain time period.

Please let me know answers above

thx

Those are the only answers you are going to find.   Even the majority of the advanced members don't have or use the PA5800.

Seguinbg,

Per the X10 knowledge base:

"The current production versions of the DS7000 Protector Plus Security console and PA5800 Voice-Dial Personal Assistance console can learn up to 10 digits per phone number only."

It looks like you're out of luck on long-distance if you need the "1".

What does everyone use for the security Module station? Is one of the other X10 units better to use?
Thanks
