Our 36 day old vk82a has stopped working. We were watching it and it just died. The lights are on but no function. We have tried changing the ABCD buttons,no luck. We have no cordless phones or routers in the house. What can be done?

If it just up and died as you were using it, it is not likely a forum member can be of much help. Sounds like it went ka-phooey (a highly technical term you may not be familiar with).
You need to call X10. This is a user forum and X10 does not respond to user comments through the forum.
Sorry, However X10 has a liberal replacement policy, you should not have a problem getting replacement.
