I would like a magnetic switch communicating using RF (with a X10 address) like a motion sensor. I am aware and use PowerFlasher, but I can not always have the switch near an AC source. Example outside on fence post for the gate. The security swiches require the PC be on and that is not always an option. I am also open to a hack of the hawkeye motion sensor if someone has already done it. Would be a great new product as the security door switches just need a few modifications.

There is a mod on this site to use a Hawkeye for a door and window sensor.
