For $50 (less) you can get the software... AND a CM15A (which BTW, I think you will need to use OnAlert).

First I would like to say that I am not sure if the OnAlert plugin will work with the CM19A.

I just want to say that:

1)  I have never seen the OnAlert plugin sold with the CM19A ActiveHome Pro kit.

2)  The only AHP version that works with the CM19A is 3.271, which is a known buggy version.

If I had to choose, I'd buy the CM15A with AHP and all the plugins, and use version 3.228 - a version that many here swear by.

Just my $.02

Using AHP 3.271 and OnAlert DOES work with the CM19A. I have just tested this using a DS10A to trigger a macro and it is working perfectly.
I had my CM15A connected and once I disconnected it and plugged in the CM19A I had to reinstall 3.271 to have it pickup. After this, it is working quite well.  :)%

Hopefully, your 3.271 will work, the odds though are it won't.  The first inkling is either timers or macros don't work as written. That may take as many as four days before odd things begin to happen.

Oops!  Going to have to remember that. Still if you need the software..... buy the package deal (the CM15A is nice to have).

I did notice timers and macros not working in 3.271 and also the bugs in 3.236. I am only running 3.271 to test several things but will revert back to 3.228.
I had several CM19As laying around and was just curious if they would in fact work with OnAlert.

I would also recommend the CM15A over the CM19A.
The CM19A is bare-bones with AHP and can only work if the computer is running 24/7.

CM15A is NEW The CM15SD is Certified like new or Scratch and Dent.
We have seen reports of some SD stuff being DOA or missing parts. Many times in a plastic bag and not in the original box.

I personally would not buy any SD items.

Thanks Brain i saw a deal where you can get all the software for $34 I think i go ahead and spend little more and get a new one. Some time the Scratch and Dent are better then new one if the test them out frist before shipping them. I know the new one they don't test everyone before shipping them.
