AHP version 3.296 and SDK fail!
« on: November 13, 2010, 01:17:54 PM »

Am I the only one seeing this?
Programs built using the SDK work prior to AHP 3.296 work and fail to send or receive after updating.

Tuice,

It seems to be running fine on 1 machine here.  BVC still works, and x10dispatcher is still logging commands.  I'll do some more testing with PCC.

I updated to 3.296 when I got active phone, and am having problems with registering the original software, but when it all works again, i'll let you know

Thanks  Knightrider
It may just be this machine or the way I'm coding ::) :'
I have 2 versions of xp on here and win7.On both xp versions X10nets fail to even load.
Maybe time to rebuild the registry for them  :-\

In 295 we changed the build environment for the x10net service to VisualStudio 2010.  Most of the interoperability functions called by the SDK are still working but not all of them.  We are working on an updated version of the SDK to bring it up to the same runtimes and resolve these incompatibilities.

It sounds like you have some more going on than just this though.  The x10net service has been tested on XP here, and so far it works well in testing.  Let me know if you think you have found a bug I may have missed though.

On both versions of xp I updated to 3.236 or when ever the additional commands were added for the VCR commander.
I created a macro using one of these commands after trying to configure my TV running the macro crashed the x10 nets and ever since the updates havenot fixed the X10 nets issue for these XP versions.
I don't wish to test that option again in case I screw another PC's X10nets uninstalls and reinstalls failed to fix as did removing references in the registry but then it is possible I missed something.
As for the SDK I think it may have been I loaded an old program not built for 64 bit as future loaded SDK programs worked to some degree.
