Two TIVOs on IR34a remote?
« on: January 13, 2011, 02:45:44 PM »

Been struggling w. this.  I have two tivos that are controlled by one tivo remote using the A/B switch on it.  However, I can only get the IR34a remote to control the "A" tivo.  Can I somehow "teach" the remote to learn the "B" or is there another way to do this?

Can you control the "B" Tivo, with the "B" Tivo remote OUTSIDE the room the B Tivo is located in?  If so the control is RF, not IR so the answer would be No. IR34 can only learn IR commands.
