Airplane mode
« on: September 12, 2011, 08:43:17 PM »

Can't find how to enter airplane mode. When selecting battery usage, then cell standby (which shows 72%), it says to switch to airplane mode to save power in areas with no cell coverage. Any ideas?

While the screen says 'cell standby' this is the 'idle' background battery usage of the tablet.  We are experimenting to see if we can improve this.

There is no setting to enter 'airplane' mode, which would turn off WiFi. If you like, you may turn off WiFi access directly from the WiFi Settings screen.  If you do not need WiFi access then this will improve battery usage.
