If the camera is on the front, how do you take a photo or video?

You can use the Camera Application which also takes videos. On your screen, you will see a icon that looks like a couple rows of squares. Press that to open your applications menu, and then select Camera. To use video, simply use the camera toggle on the screen to switch to video, or back to camera.

Maybe emoorman is asking; how do you see what you want to frame on?

The truth is front cameras are not really made for taking pictures or videos that you need to look at the subject or scenery in front of you to frame but more made for taking pictures or videos of people who are looking at the screen.  However I can imagine that by holding the the tablet out to the side of the person taking the pictures or videos such that one could see the screen in order to frame the subject or the scenery behind you or over your shoulder so to speak that it would work.  Maybe a little awkward but I think but it could be done.

I would guess that X10 doesn't want to let the cat out of the bag but I bet they are already working on the next model up which might include a back camera...haha...  Isn't this the way most companies do when marketing.  Improvements come along in later models to get you to upgrade.  See you all maybe have bigger and better things to look forward to from X10 in the tablet market!!!

One nice thing about any future models of tablets you all may have a chance to make suggestions of what you would like in the next model via this forum.  What other tablet maker out there listens to the customer???...haha...

Seems stupid using any kind of tablet for taking pictures to me. Saw a guy taking a video at beach, kneeling down by water with his ipad when he got splashed by one of his children. So funny. That's why I am standing.

I was also surprised to only find a front facing camera.  It seems it's to be used for video chatting.
