Wireless security system
« on: September 21, 2011, 08:34:11 AM »

I got a wireless system a couple months back, and I'm having trouble getting everything working.  First off, this is what I got:

1 Wireless PC Transceiver CM19A
8 Door/Window Sensor DS10A
2 Security Keychain Remote KR10A
1 Lamp Module LM465
4 Security Surveillance Decal MM024
2 Wireless Motion Sensor MS10A
1 Advanced SecuriLINK Security Console SC1200
1 Security Remote Control SH624

I had no trouble with the main console and installing the components like the FOBs and motion sensors.  It works fine.

I got the software downloaded to my computer and the app to my iphone, but there is no communication with them and the console.  I can't get them to turn my system off/on or anything.  Reading the instructions I have, it seems as if it should be automatic once you plug in the tranceiver.  It is plugged in, and the red light on it flickers when I push buttons, but nothing happens.  Any suggestions?

We need more info!
What software and Plug-ins did you get?
most of this isn't plug and play, the more info you can supply the faster we'll find an answer.

"I can't get them to turn my system off/on or anything. "

Are you talking about PC or iPhone?

In AHP do you have a Security Modules Tab where the security console and sensors are listed?
That is where you would add the SC1200 {called a SC12? in AHP}.
I have the security modules tab added by On Alert.

The keyflob and security remote also need to be configured in AHP in
order to turn your system on/off using software.
