HELP ..................and greetings from Spain

(1/2) > >>

ROGIS:
Hello my name is Roger I'm from Spain, and I am very interested in home automation x10.
Here in Spain is much more expensive;), without being able to use their products and RF voltage differences, but it remains the most economical home automation.
I want to buy a central control (XTP040503) "MAXICONTROLADOR LCD"

I'm interested in the telephone control and outage notice.

I really also want control of pc (CM15). But you believe that handcuff use the CM15 with European RF (433.92 Mhz) and a (CM19A) USB RF (310MHz) on the same pc and then use RF U.S. (battery)? Would have problems? Could he the (CM19A) usb, give notice in RF communication with the PC and the CM15 give notice to "LCD Maxicontrolador" and this call?

And another question: The control center (XTP040503) "LCD MAXICONTROLADOR" has option for 2 wired modules, modules you can join multiple wired and spread between these 2 unique entries? That wiring modules (battery) U.S. existing? European Central work for me?

Greetings and thanks from Spain.

Brian H:
I found the XTP040503 manual on line.
It looks like our SC1200 Security Console.
The two hard wired inputs are for Normally Closed Magnetic Switches. That trigger an alarm when one is opened and the console is armed.

The CM19A still uses a 310MHz RF frequency so getting it to talk to the controller you mentioned is doubtful.

I will look at the manual I downloaded and add more information if I find any.

This looks like AHP and an Interface but I don't understand Spanish so I could be incorrect.

Thanks very big on trying to help, is not easy does not speak well your language. To sum up my questions:
I recommend plant-control (XTP040503) "MAXICONTROLADOR LCD"?
-They can work on one PC and home automation x10 two different RF (433.92hmz and 310MHz (and thus take advantage of the prices of your country. I do not work for voltage)?
- The 2 wired inputs of the plant (XTP040503) can modifcar to connect more than 2?

Thanks again for helping me here in Spain it is little known

Brian H:
The XTP40503 does not interface with a computer at all. It is a stand alone Security Console. Like the US SC1200 Console.
The XTP40503 can do 433.92MHz. Our SC1200 does 310MHz. Neither model does both RF frequencies. So you can't mix US and European RF devices.

The power line X10 signals are universal. 120KHz on the power lines.

The two wired zones on the Security Consoles {31 and 32} can use switches in series.
Zone 31 <------ Switch ------- Switch ---------- Switch--------|
Zone 31 <------------------------------------------------------|

ROGIS:
Brian H are a great man. Are helping me on several issues at once. great.

SC1200 is that the plant has no control on the PC, only (TLF, RF and PCL).

The two wired zones on the Security Consoles and 32} {31 Can use switches in series. This is great news, is what I wanted.

The question is: my SC1200 in Central Europe is 433.9Mhz RF, ok.
...... but if I use my pc with a (CM15 RF 433.9Mhz) and (CM19A RF 310Mhz) , no problem by using 2 different RF at the same time?

I explain in another post that the central SC1200 is a bad idea, wrong. You advise?

Thank you, friend.
