Note taking
« on: November 18, 2011, 06:41:43 PM »

Hi all,

Is there an app I could use to just take notes and store on my AirPad?

Thanks

Plenty apps for note taking beside the Office Suite that comes with AP.  Try "ColorNote" or "Handrite Pro"

I use evernote and springpad. I also invested a few $$ in the swiftkey app to replace the native kewboard and have found it well worth it.

Both of the above mentioned apps sync with online versions and can later be edited by computer.

"Office Suite" - reference to Documents to Go which was on my XL. If not on yours,
got o Amazon App Store (for your purposes, the free version is fine).

I also got the Handrite app and DejaOffice, which has allows you to create memos
as well as have a calendar and contacts list.

I'll second the recommendation on the SwiftKey keyboard app - just bought it after
my trial ran out (and I'd suggest doing that 1st to make sure you really like it since
tastes vary) but I'd decided after a short bit that this was a must buy for me - I love
it's prediction engine and it saves me time in typing in messages - either in notes or
on Facebook. Again, your mileage may vary.

The Airpad was the name used on the X10 Tablets. I believe they are no longer on the sales pages.
