I see that a number of people have questions about Port Forwarding... check this site... this guy Shane is very good in explaining about Port Forwarding.

http://www.pcwintech.com/

Although he supports the Lorex DVR.. there are many lessons you can learn about his tech tips. Check out the SUPPORT FORUMS on that site.

Just remember... for the IP Camera Settings..

NOTE:

Set the IP Address to a Static Address.  So that if you power off your router and/or the camera, it will use still use the same static IP address.

Gateway and DNS Server should have the IP Address of your Router's IP Address.

Subnet Mask: I always use 255.255.255.0

Http Port:  use something else other than 80... sample use ==> 8080

Just in case if people doesnt know about this...

the Airsight Wireless camera unit do come with the software.

When I got the package, I was shocked that I dont have the software.. called the tech support and ws told to check under the unit. Yes, the software CD is under the foam packing within the box.

agcruise,

I believe there is no software with the Airsight camera.  It is just the Web interface, same as what comes with the Foscam.  The software they are talking about (Blue Iris) on the Foscam site is a more robust video recording program.  Very good software I might add.

If you loose the CD or didn't find it.
There is a download link for it in the X10 wiki.
IP camera section.
