Hey, Jack,  I just saw your post - sorry, I've been busy the last few days, and haven't checked for new messages.  If you have the zt-update in the root of your SD card, and the files ZT280.kernel, ZT280.recovery and ZT280.system are all in that directory, then it should work - are you pressing the camera button, then while holding the camera button pressing and holding the power button until the screen comes on?  some of these tablets are sensitive in that way.  Once the screen comes on, it should either just go into update mode or ask you to press the camera button again, to continue with the update.  It *IS* important to not touch the screen during the loading process - it will do strange and unknown things to you if you do.   B:(  I just loaded up a new version of ICS, BTW - it's dated 20120206 - less problems in that load - I have it hacked to 900MHz, and will share with you the instructions for doing this, if you get it to load.  Tom

I've been doing all of that, it just seems to want to completely skip the step...
I think at this point I'll wait for x10's release of ICS; I downloaded the 2.3.4 (or something like that) from the x10 website and it has files in it that isn't in the ICS one from zenithink... files like "command" which sound important. I also want the support that comes with it, so I'll wait. Any news on when that may come out? I assume its within the month, but will it be posted on the forum when it is?

Thanks for all the help!

I have the CM005 by zenithink. Does that affect what the zt-update package includes?

Jackronson,

If the zt-update your talking about is from the Zenithink website you might want to make sure
that the zt-update folder isn't inside another zt-update folder after unzipping it.
The root zt-update folder must be placed in the root of the sdcard.
Make sure the folder is visible from the Airpad and then do a complete power off then hold the camera button and
press the power button.  You should see messages in the center bottom of screen giving instructions.
Make sure the C91 file is for your serial number. As far as I've the Airpads are version "2N"
Serial number tag located on the left bottom side of the AirpadX holding it in landscape with the buttons to the top right.

Checked FCC site and the documents submitted say that all 3 models are the same device, no differences

MOMO15, CM008, MOMO15N

Looked at picture of MOMO15N at pandawill and it doesn't have the same button configuration as the AirpadX

I have the CM002 Airpad 910 from November 2011. I use the amazon market without problems. The first tablet had to be sent back for a motherboard replacement, it would not keep the time. Since then it has performed reasonably well.  :)%

diller3,

What size Airpad is yours?
Do you have the FCC id for your CM002?
Would you post it?

GJF,

Do you have the new XL?  If so, does it  have the 4 control buttons on the right side of not? The MOMO15 has the buttons and the MOMO15N does not.
Does yours have the buttons or not?
Thanks.

GJH,
ok, thanks. when you stated that you knew the FCC ID info i wrongly guessed that you had one already, I will post when I get mine ( the USB port died on my X and they are sending an XL as replacement) as to exactly which model it is.

GJF,
Thanks for the FCC ID. I looked it up and looked at the pictures. It is definitely the older MOMO15 with the 4 control buttons.
I will be able to download the install flash from Ployer and hopefully be able to access Google Apps including the Android Market
