USB VIDEO CONVERTER
« on: April 12, 2012, 05:21:12 PM »

I am a new X10 ActiveHome Pro user and am trying to set it up.  I keep getting a message that says, "Your ActiveHome Pro system has the iWatchOut Plugin installed and registered bu ActiveHome Pro is unable to connect to the USB Video Capture Device.  Please check that the USB Video Capture Device is plugged in and working properly.  Check that no other X10 camera software is running.  Only one x10 camera application can be in use as a time. For more help with this problem, see Installing the USB Video Converter."  When I click on Installing the USB Video Converter link, nothing happens, yet it is a hot link.

I don't know what to do, what to look for, or where to find the video capture device or how to connect it.  Help!!!

You need either a VA11A (for windows XP), or a VA12A (for Vista or Windows 7).
Without it, you won't be able to use any of the video plugins, since you can't get video into AHP without it.

Thank you.  I found it and plugged it in.
