Lighting control integrated into bluray
« on: March 07, 2012, 09:56:07 PM »

I found nothing on the web that can help me for my Home-cinema. I would like to have a blu-ray player that can read differrent step of the movie and send X10 command. In theaters, the house lights come on bright enough so people can see their way out of the theater and I think it would be pretty cool to have that same sort of feature at home. All you would have to do is decide which scene in the lighting control gets selected when the "start credits" flag is read from the bluray player.

trailer : specific lighting
movie start: '' ''
End movie: '' ''

Yeah, I undertsood that. But it's an X10 wish list, not a Sony wish list, so thought maybe the OP knew something like maybe a new player coming out with usable data output.

God. I hope not, considering the nuts we have on the roads today, we don't need them in the sky.

Be serious.   Driving on roads is bad enough,  there's driver's that don't use turn signals, don't drive a posted speed limits, refuse to use seat belts, almost everybody encounters these types every time they drive.
