Writing Recognition?

Hey guys, got a new question here:
Has anyone here played with hand writing recognition apps at all? The Amazon App store has one or two that i found, but the most promising appears to be a self contained program for the Kindle Fire (don't even know if compatible with APX). Here's the Amazon listing:
http://www.amazon.com/Smart-Writing-Tool-7notes-Premium/dp/B006RMJ1I2/ref=sr_1_1?s=mobile-apps&ie=UTF8&qid=1330399956&sr=1-1
The other main question is has anyone found anythign that can be used in place of the keyboard for other programs?
Update: looks like i found something, a handwriting keyboard. I wonder if anyone's used it?

Try the graffiti app which emulates the Palm input system.

I like MessageEase. It's a keyboard that uses drag and drop. Takes a little getting used to, but works really well.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I didn't even realize that someone had made a Grafiti app for Android. I DL'd the free version just to play with it for a couple of minutes, then promptly uninstalled and paid for the Pro version. I loved my my old Palm systems, and got very used to using the system... so much so that it began taking over my normal hand writing
Now I'm working to use it again.
