AirpadX Factory Rom Image in Downloads
« on: January 19, 2012, 06:36:18 PM »

Not sure if this is a original factory ROM image or an updated one. For the AirpadX. The software revision page has no data as of yet for it.
It is showing in the X10 software download page.

Not sure when the Airpad X came out, but the file dates of the zt-update are early November 2011
I think It is just a recovery set of files.

For the latest gingerbread firmware go to http://www.zenithink.com/UploadFile/ZT280_H1_2n_C91_Android4.0_0211_V2.5.rar

Yes, the AirPad X is made by Zenithink. The model is ZT-280-C91.
Yes, their firmware version is stable and includes the Google Apps (for example: Android Market)

The Google Android Market requires a subset that includes support for all the Google Apps. The best way to acquire them is to load them via a firmware upgrade.
It is not that hard to do.

How can one find a model chart to compare which is the correct match.

The factory is currently working on a ICS release for that model (Airpad XL), I do not have an ETA now. If you can dig up the current ICS release for this unit, don't waste your time installing it - it is buggy.

Andrew,

The firmware on the X10 site is for the Airpad X not the XL
