So are you officially verifying that your next release will include Google Play (Android Market)?

I can tell you with 100% certainty that any official X10 OS will not have Google play / market.

Forget the 0406 image.....wait for the x10 release or install the 0331 image if u want ICS right now

What is the difference between the 0331 image and the 0406 image? I thought you had the 0406 installed on your XL and that was the one you helped me get the volume keys working.  :)

Can you tell us with some level of certainty whether or not Bluetooth will be incorporated?

I do not think that bluetooth will be incorporated into the OS, but I am not certain about it.

That unit was never sold with internal bluetooth support, so your approach is not valid.

I've learned from dealing with the factories that any date that they indicate really does not mean anything. I do know that they are working on it, and it will get done. They are promising a new version soon.

X10 Repair Depot:

We understand that the unit was marketed and sold as no Bluetooth. What we are asking is that they include USB Bluetooth support so we can use an external Bluetooth adaptor. without kernel support for bluetooth any external bluetooth will not be recognized by the OS.

Do you think they will do that for free?

I never asked for internal bluetooth support, that would require recalling every tablet and modifying the whole guts.
The discussion has always been about providing external support which is a simple process.

This discussion got off topic.  What ever happened to ICS?  Any update on an ETA?

After about 5 days with 4.03 ICS - it is like day and night with the airpad, and a big part is google play.  I know others have said the apps are available if you look hard enough - but the effort needed to find these other apps (which may be outdated) compared to using Google Play - is rediculous.

Net having Google Play as part of the ICS upgrade is like selling a new car with 3 tires.   I will probably still move - just not as well.
