VK87A Setup
« on: April 17, 2012, 01:48:36 AM »

I am having a problem setting up my VK87A. I have basic cable TV (no cable box).  The TV in the living room has 2 RCA jacks in both front and back.  The one in the bedroom has 3 jacks in both front and back.  How do I setup the VK87A with the configuration I described?  Do I HAVE to have a cable box and/or VCR?  I am on a fixed income and can't afford extended cable and don't record or playback to/from my VCR.  Thanks to all who may reply, for any and all help.

Can you check the TV you want to use as the source of programs and determine if any of the RCA jacks are Video and Audio Outputs and not auxiliary Audio and Video Inputs.
If they are Inputs. We will see if maybe the VCR can be used to convert the RF Cable signals to baseband video and audio.
