Last year we went to Smartmeter reading.
I don't know what effect it may have on X10 products but my battery backup powersupply
sensitivity needed raised after talking with the power company. A smartmeter "reads" buy turning off and back
on at set times of the day. Any stop/start is only for a few milliseconds but it was enough to trigger the alarm my UPS.

I had the same problem, but found out my neighbor was also using X10 modules, Liked to have drove me nuts. my lights would turn off or on at odd times and I would clear the interface and start all over. Then I noticed it was always at a preset time, So I changed my house code from A to B and haven't had anymore problems.
