Spent hours trying to access my my camera's IP from an internet browser port number and everything.
Went here http://kbase.x10.com/wiki/IP_Camera_-_Remote_Viewing

then here http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding
 Then finally realized I needed to stop trying to see my camera's router IP
Typed in the IP of my network instead of the camera ip with the port I had assigned ..  (000.000.000.000:8000 for example )
Then it worked.
Basically you are opening a port from your camera to the internet through the router.

Don't forward a port range; use port range forwarding but make a unique port forwarding rule for each camera. You should forward the cameras to a port higher than 8000 because ports lower than that are generally used for other things. Ports in the 8000 range are rarely used by default.

I got my Airsight 41A's yesterday in the mail.  Set all 3 of them up hardwired and wireless with no problems.  I then opened up a port range and could NOT see them outside my network.  Then I did like suggested above and set up one port for each camera and BOOM, all is well.  Only took about 3-4 hours dinking with it to realize a port range wasn't working.  Wish I knew of this web site first......
