VK82A video sender - use with audio only?

I would like to transmit music from a CD player to different rooms in the house.  Will the VK82A video sender work for this?  Customer Service would only give me an answer of "it's meant to be used for video, not audio" so I was wondering if anyone could give a real world answer.

I can not find the VK82A, but all the other X10 video transmitters and receivers have Audio Left and Right connections, so yes it will transmit audio. However The paddle antennas on the units tend to be directional. So you may have difficulties IF you have receivers that will be 90 degrees or perpendicular to the direction the transmitter antenna is pointing with a wall or two in between.

Looks like a kit with a VT46A and VR46A.

The set looks like it has Right and Left Audio Inputs on the sender and Outputs on the receiver.

X10 Repair Depot:
The VK82A (and all other video sender / receivers) will work fine using only audio.
