I bough the video sender plus with GREAT expectations. Greatly disappointed. It is not able to go transmitt/received a good signal through a single concrete wall between rooms.
Really don't waste the money on this.

Have you tried any of the tips in the X10 Knowledgebase?

I get a good signal in one room in my house (15 foot seperation).
I bought it to send cable/dvr box signal to my screen room that is less than 75 feet from the transmitter and get
nothing but wavy lines with no audio, but I can change the channels.
I called X10 and they told me there is interference (no kidding) some type of electrical device in the path is blocking it
and I need to unplug the device or devices. That means I have to unplug the refrigerator, washer, dryer & A/C - furnace.

Come on X10 you advertised this is your best one yet and has invisawall technology, it's more like invisasignal!

By screen room, do you mean a room where you screen videos or a room enclosed by metal screens?

No it doesn't. I don't know if you have the older 2.4 gHz sender or the newer 900mHz sender. If you know which you have, post it, as it might be helpful when trying to find a solution. Regardless, electronic devices that you need to unplug, just to test and isolate, would be home Wifi network and cordless phones. and like dhouston said, "what do you mean by 'screen room' ?"

Also the paddle antennas on the sender and receiver tend to be very directional, so make sure they are pointing in each others general direction.
